Fall 2026 Application Update for Dance Applicants
There has been a change to the Main Campus application process that will affect students applying to the University of Arizona School of Dance for Fall 2026 entry.
Main Campus Application – New Timeline
The Main Campus application now opens August 1 (previously July 1). This applies to all first-year U.S. and international students.
Early Action Process
Early Action is a deadline-driven admissions model. Students who apply by the Early Action deadline will receive priority consideration for:
- Admission
- Merit-based financial aid
- W.A. Franke Honors College
Key Dates:
August 1: Application Opens
November 1: Early Action Deadline
Mid-January: Admission and Merit Aid Notification

Note: Transfer students follow a rolling admission process. The Early Action timeline does not apply to them.
BFA in Dance Application
The BFA in Dance application will also open August 1.
Important Notes:
- You must submit the Main Campus application first to gain access to the Arizona Dance application.
- This application may be referred to as the Fine Arts Application BFA Dance or CFA Application Form in different parts of the system.
- Registration for in-person audition dates is completed during the dance application process, under the Audition Details section.
School of Dance Office Closure
The School of Dance will be closed in observance of the holidays from June 23 through July 4. We will reopen on Monday, July 7.
