Sarah Lisette Chiesa, an Assistant Professor here at the School of Dance, has been pursuing her research on her philosophies surrounding “The Energetic Residue of the Moving Body Left in Space.” her courses in modern technique, at both 200 and 300 levels, emphasizes heavily this concept . Inside her research as an interdisciplinary artist, Sarah created a Women’s March that encompassed the power and importance of the collective energetic presence of women through an embodied durational walk. The group was given one improvisational task, to support and to be supported by each other.
