Making Strides in the Community and Beyond

The Traveling Dance Ensemble (TDE) gives University of Arizona School of Dance students real-world experience in touring, choreography, and arts management. Led by Duane Cyrus and Tamara Dyke-Compton, TDE showcases high-level performance while serving as a cultural ambassador.

The Traveling Dance Ensemble initiative is supported by the University of Arizona Provost Investment Grant.

Recent Highlights:

• Joyce Theatre, NYC – Performed Prelude to Action from Martha Graham’s Chronicle as part of Martha Graham at 100
• Linda Ronstadt Music Hall – Performed Boléro with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra for an audience of 1,500+
