This February love isn’t the only thing drifting by on the breeze as UA School of Dance presents Dance is in the Air.
Take a trip on the Pacific Coast Highway in Tamara Dyke-Compton’s Pasadena. Celebrating friendship and togetherness, this lively dance features the music of The Beach Boys.
Sam Watson will be presenting his crowd-favorite Punctuations.!?, a light- hearted piece with music by J.S. Bach and performed by Dave Grusin and Lee Ritenour. This cartoonlike, humorous trio highlights a conversation between a period, exclamation point and a question mark.
The Phoenix, with choreography by Hayley Meier, draws on human connection, and the importance of love and support. Works by Christopher Compton, and Marquez Johnson round out an evening that is sure to have the clouds at your feet.
