We are excited to share that our faculty member, Liz George, was recently featured as a guest on The Moon Gallery’s new podcast, “Artonaut.” This innovative podcast delves into the fascinating intersection of art and space exploration, with conversations led by visionary artists and scientists.
In the first episode, Liz George joined the all-artist crew from the Imagination 1 Moon analogue mission, which took place in March 2024 at the Space Analog for the Moon and Mars, located at the University of Arizona’s Biosphere 2. This mission provided a high-fidelity simulation of lunar conditions, allowing the crew to explore new artistic frontiers in a space-like environment.
