Gen Ed / Non-Major Dance Class
The School of Dance offers a wide array of general education dance classes available to all students on campus. Included in these class offerings are multiple levels of jazz, ballet, modern, tap, African dance, dance appreciation and more!
Students don’t need any prior experience to enroll in a beginning level course! Students with dance experience are welcome to enroll in any class you feel is most appropriate for your skill level. Any dance class with a course number of “100” is open to non-dance majors. For example: DNC 112C is Intermediate Ballet, DNC 144C is Intermediate Jazz, DNC 143 is Improvisation. Any class with a course number of “200” or higher (other than the DNC 201 Pilates Mat Class) is restricted to UA Dance BFA students.
